Lorena joined CJM in February 2019. As the Director of Client Planning, she provides investment management by coordinating and overseeing our financial portfolios, along with spearheading the Retirement 401(k) business.
Q: Do you have any Awards, Honors or Credentials?
A: I have obtained the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQPTM) designation, a bachelor’s degree in Finance from New York Institute of Technology, and have completed 20 credits of graduate coursework.
Q: Have you always worked in the financial industry?
A: My career in the financial industry began nearly 20 years ago, where I held positions such as Senior Financial Analyst for firms like Deutsche Bank Securities and Marcum Financial Services.
Q: What about your role at CJM do you enjoy the most?
A: The building of relationships with plans sponsors, clients, and providers.
Q: What are some of your hobbies?
A: Golf, traveling, and spending quality time with my family.
Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?
A: I would take the time to smell the roses; take life down a notch or two.
Q: What’s your favorite book and why?
A: “Breakfast at Sally’s” by Richard LeMieux. It gave me such a great perspective and insight as to how one’s life can change so drastically, and how one human can endure so many misfortunes yet still overcome the obstacles.
